November: Handle Technology With Care

$250.00

Thursday, November 18th at 11am PT

Welcome aboard the Digital Citizen Ship! Join our puppet friend Tangie as she travels to Earth to learn how to be the best digital citizen she can be. But, Tangie isn’t always sure how things work, and she gets herself in some trouble when she loses her device. Can you help Tangie learn how to safely handle her device?

Young learners help our puppet friend Tangie learn how to be responsible with technology. Tangie joins us LIVE on camera so we can help her find her device. By interacting with a live puppet, learners are invited into the world of Digitopolis in an SEL-friendly way. Our puppet friends give permission to children to make mistakes – and ask for help to fix them.

This fun, interactive series  of live virtual programs explores digital citizenship with a crew of puppet friends. Learners in grades pre-K-4 will get loads of practical tips for digital citizenship as they guide their new puppet friends to solve real-world problems in technology. Developmentally appropriate activities prepare learners with future-ready skills. This unique online learning experience is based on the SEL zones of regulation model from Leah Kuypers, MA.Ed.
